The University for Parents (U4P) is a signature program of the National CARES Mentoring Movement founded by Susan L. Taylor, former editor-in-chief of Essence Magazine. 

U4P Atlanta is a community-based program designed to collaborate with local partners to provide workforce development training, wellness, and support to economically disadvantaged parents while advancing them towards self-sufficiency and economic mobility for themselves and the next generation.
